Casino Vote in Lansing, Mich.

B&J Moving and Storage, a Lansing moving company, anxiously wait to learn if the Lansing City Council members will approve the proposals to bring a casino to the downtown. Projected to cost $245 million, it will create 1,500 permanent jobs. The council decides tonight if it will sell land to the Sault Ste. Marie tribe of the Chippewa Indians, the future owner and operator of the facility.

Part of the revenue brought in by the casino will fund college scholarships for high school students in the city and its surrounding suburbs. The Lansing movers want to know if you think this is the best use of the revenue, and also if a casino is the right choice to improve Lansing's economy?
